George Crosby

Youth Scholarship Fund

Named for FFV founding member George Crosby, George always encouraged young people to take up fly fishing and to learn the importance conservation plays in protecting our fisheries resources. This scholarship is open to FFV youth members and to the children, grandchildren or relatives of club members in good standing.

George served his county and his community in a plethora of capacities: from serving in the National Guard to his over six decades of teaching in his church. His passion for the outdoors and fishing was simply a way for George to spend time with his many friends and pass on his love for fly rod fishing to the next generation.
